Just enjoy the peace and the sun by the pool.
From the B&B you can cross the lagoon and arrive at a beautiful, miles-long white beach between the lagoon and the sea where you feel like you are alone in the world, where you can take a long walk on the beach or sunbathe.
You can use our canoes and paddle boards and paddle through the lagoon into the sea. Or horse riding on the beach.

Within walking distance is an area known for its large number of pelicans and other water birds, Le Thiossane. You can reach this beautiful area via a hiking trail through the nature reserve or by canoe. There is also a restaurant there, Le Thiossane. There is a terrace located on the shore of the sea, where it is pleasant to sit and from where you can admire the unique landscape while having a drink or satisfying your hunger.
Less than 7 km away you will find the shell island of Joal Fadiouth (UNESCO World Heritage Center). Joal is on the mainland and Fadiouth is on an island connected by a bridge. A small village whose streets are littered with shells. Shellfish are used in local architecture and crafts. There are stilt houses, and you will also find a cemetery where Muslims and Christians are buried together.
Saly (30 km) is the westernmost town in Senegal. It is a tourist seaside resort with many restaurants and shops. A few years ago, part the town flooded, a number of craftsmen settled in the ruins, and it was transformed into a souvenir village.
Marlodj and Simal: You will be taken to the island of Marlodj by boat. Everything is still as it used to be, and you will cross the village by horse and cart, where the guide will provide explanations. Among other things, there is still an old drumm that they use to let the residents know things via codes. After the tour, you return by boat. From there you drive to the Simal peninsula where you can enjoy a delicious lunch on the beach and, if desired, take a dive into the sea or the swimming pool.
Church of Nianing and Liqueur de Warang: The Church of Nianing or Eglise Epiphanie du seigneur de Nianing is a Catholic church, built with donations. Very beautiful in terms of architecture. You can go up to the bell towers with a phenomenal view.
Foret de Bandia, safari in Senegal where you will see all the large mammals of Africa (white rhinos, zebra, giraffes, buffalo, derby eland, Cape eland, oryx Roan antelope, nyalas, gazelles, warthog, jackals, monkeys, crocodiles, giant tortoises, ostriches and birds), 3500 ha, gigantic baobabs, bushes and whimsical lianas, more nature and a park.

Ile Gorée Island, 3 km off the coast of Dakar (20 minutes ferry). It is merely 900 by 300 m. From the 16th to the 19th century it was the center of transatlantic slave trading.
The island is also home to “the maison des esclaves”, the most important transit point for slaves on the island.
Dakar is the capital of Senegal with Le Monument de la Renaissance Africaine (monument of African rebirth), a beautiful statue overlooking the city. You can take an elevator to go up in the monument. In Dakar you will also find the covered Kermel market, Sandag market, …
Lac Rose, the Pink Lake, is a salt water lake, 25 km from Dakar.
It is separated from the Atlantic Ocean by dunes, and owes its name to its color.
You can go in and swim, ride a boat, and float on the salt water.
Desert de Lompoul, a small desert 145 km from Saint Louis, sand dunes that form the landscape and are similar to those of the Sahara and Mauritania. Dromedrons and camels.
Saloum Delta (UNESCO World Heritage Center). River delta in Senegal at the mouth of the Saloum river. The Saloum delta consists of brackish channels that contain more than 200 islands, mangrove forests and dry forest.
Saloum Delta National Park: swamp area, a paradise for bird watchers; numerous flamingos and the largest pelican population in the world. There are also civets, wild boars, monkeys, hyenas, jackals, snakes, monitor lizards, gazelles and crocodiles.
